Alpine A110 successor announced
Renault Group has shared some early bits of information concerning a fully electric sports car coming in a couple of years to replace the mid-engined Alpine A110 (pictured here).
The new EV will weigh in at 1,450 kilograms or so (3,200 pounds). It will be able to cover around 560 km (348 miles) per charge and will have “more than enough” power and torque, per the manufacturer.
With this new model – which remains nameless for the time being – Alpine hopes to be able to compete against Porsche’s EV coming to replace the 718 coupe and roadster.
