Zeekr churns out its 500,000th EV

The Chinese automaker has reported passing half a million production EVs. The milestone vehicle was a Zeekr 009 minivan assembled at the company’s main factory in Ningbo.

It took three years and eight months for Zeekr to reach half a million electric vehicles made. The company’s current portfolio comprises six models produced at three factories around China – in Ningbo, Luqiao and Chengdu.

A total of 18,908 Zeekr electric cars found owners in China in May this year.
