An assembly of 20 different McLaren supercars, each one the final production example in its own lineup, is now up for grabs at Tom Hartley Jnr. Aptly called “Last of Legends”, the collection had belonged to Mansour Ojjeh, one of McLaren’s biggest shareholders and former Board Chairman, prior to his demise four years ago.
The Saudi-born French entrepreneur is widely believed to have secured numerous motorsports victories for the McLaren Racing team, eventually helping it evolve into a whole car manufacturing company. He also took part in designing such cult classics as the McLaren F1, to give just one example. Before switching his attention to the British brand, Ojjeh was an avid fan of Ferrari.
The last F1 to leave the assembly line is now a part of the Last of Legends collection. It wears a unique color called Yquem, which later became known as Mansour Orange. All cars added to the set after this F1 were commissioned in this color.
The listing emphasizes that all vehicles are zero-mileage except for the F1, which has 1,810 kilometers (1,125 miles) under its belt, and the P1 GTR, which Ojjeh drove on the occasional track day. McLaren Automotive itself was charged with keeping the collection well-maintained, something that no other fan of the British brand could ever boast.
