Porsche has been testing the upcoming all-electric Cayenne a lot lately, and these latest spy shots from Carscoops suggest that it will feature a highly digitalized cockpit.
The Cayenne EV was announced a year ago, while its gas-powered counterpart was last updated in 2023. Customers can order it with up to three displays – a digital instrument cluster, a central touchscreen and a dedicated display for the front passenger. This layout pioneered in the Porsche Taycan and is now found in the Macan Electric and the Panamera Mk3.
The Cayenne seen here has the same screens, plus a fourth one mounted below the infotainment touchscreen. We suppose it can be dedicated solely to the HVAC. The gas-powered SUV takes advantage of a traditional climate control panel featuring a mixture between physical and sensor controls.
Having said that, the Cayenne EV also seems to have a few hardware buttons on the console. The transmission selector is installed to the right-hand side from the steering wheel, and a Porsche Sport Chrono timepiece sits in the middle of the front panel, as usual.
