Ram unleashes a real NASCAR racing truck

The Ram brand is making a NASCAR comeback after a 13-year hiatus, and is doing so with a beautifully extreme-looking Ram 1500.

The truck only maintains a superficial resemblance to its civilian namesake while being its own racecar. The detailed specifications have yet to be revealed, but we already know that it has a space-frame design and a powertrain that shares next to nothing with the regular Ram 1500.

We’ll be seeing it compete in the 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, the company promises.
