개념 자동차
Much-troubled Californian startup Faraday Future has introduced what it considers to be a “smart” vehicle. Long story short, it’s a rebadged Wey 80 a.k.a. Wey Gaoshan produced by Great Wall in China, but with a pimped-up exterior and… an AI-powered LED radiator grille.
The van is 5.4 meters (17.7 ft.) long with 3.2 meters (10.5 ft.) of wheelbase. It sports its own, distinct headlights and anti-fog lights, blacked-out details and other minor changes from the Chinese original. The biggest feature comes in the form of a giant “talking display” called FACE, which stands for “Front AI Communication Ecosystem”. By issuing voice commands to the grille, owners can make it display various images, texts or animations. Faraday Future claims it developed the architecture for the project in the house. The result is known as the EAI (Embodied Intelligence AI) Agent 6×4.
The FX Super One is now heading to the market in various modifications with 4, 6 and 7 seats. The four-seater “GOAT Edition” is particularly deluxe and comes preloaded with heaps of options, like a large widescreen display and Dolby Atmos premium audio.
The company plans to first offer its MPV as a fully electric vehicle and later supply a hybrid variant. All sales will start in early 2026, with a factory in Hanford, California reportedly handling the assembly. If you really want one, nothing stops you from leaving a $100 deposit as a part of your preorder. Full pricing hasn’t been disclosed yet.
