2026 Geely Xingyue L a.k.a. Monjaro gains power and speed

Geely has updated the certification data for its Xingyue L (Monjaro) SUV, adding 34 PS (34 hp / 25 kW) to engine power and uploading photos of an upcoming facelift version. Sales in China could start before the end of the year, AutoHome.cn believes.

The current version of the SUV (see video) comes equipped with a 2.0-liter engine rated at 238 PS (235 hp / 175 kW). The facelift officially has 272 PS (268 hp / 200 kW). This means it can accelerate to a top speed of 225 km/h (140 miles per hour), whereas its predecessor couldn’t go any faster than 215 km/h (133 mph).

The transmission is still listed as eight-speed automatic, so it probably stays the same. The drive configuration isn’t mentioned.

On the exterior side of things, the new Monjaro boasts a sportier front apron that makes it 25 mm (1 inch) longer. The whole SUV comes in at 4,795 x 1,895 x 1,689 mm (187.3 x 74 x 66 inches) with 2,845 mm (111.2 inches) of wheelbase. Wheels will be available in 19-inch and 20-inch sizes.
