Skoda Peaq presents full specs ahead of launch

Skoda’s latest EV is a large crossover utility vehicle known as the Peaq. It is slated for launch sometime in 2026, so let’s take a look at the specs in the meantime.

The car is inspired by the Vision 7S Concept and will ship with three powertrain options including an AWD one. The body is 4,874 mm (190.4 inches) long with 2,965 mm (115.8 inches) between the axles and either five or seven seats inside. The seven-seater comes with a rather underwhelming 300-liter (10.6-cu.ft.) trunk, while the five-seater offers whopping 1,010 liters (35.67 cu. ft.) of luggage space before any folded seats.

The exterior remains to be fully revealed. Skoda says flush door handles come standard, while those nice Matrix LED headlights are exclusive to the top trim.

In its most basic drivetrain spec, the Peaq relies on just one e-motor rated at 204 PS (201 hp / 150 kW). Its range is currently estimated at 460 km (285 miles). Sprinting from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes 8.6 seconds. Paying a premium gets you a superior motor with 286 PS (282 hp / 210 kW) and up to 600 km (373 miles) of range. The top spec gets two motors, 299 PS (295 hp / 220 kW) combined, and a 6.7-second sprint time.

In terms of options, Skoda lists a premium audio system from Sonos, a panoramic roof with individually dimmable segments, 10- and 13.6-inch displays on the dash and massage-enabled seats. The list will likely expand closer to the premiere.

Once out and about, the Peaq will be Skoda’s biggest modern car around.
