Fox Factory Unveils Lowered Chevrolet Silverado

Fox Factory, known for off-road vehicle tuning, has introduced a street-focused version of the Chevrolet Silverado 1500. This follows their previous work on the Ram 1500. The new Silverado model, called the Lowered Chevrolet Silverado Black Widow SR, features a lowered suspension, 22-inch wheels, and specialized tires for improved handling.

The Silverado Lowered includes a three-inch suspension drop. It offers an optional supercharged V-8 engine, which can produce 675 horsepower. The truck maintains its payload capacity of 1980 pounds and a maximum towing capacity of 13,300 pounds. Exterior modifications include body flares, a custom grille, and a cat-back exhaust system.

The standard model is equipped with a 355-hp 5.3-liter V-8. For increased power, a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 is available, delivering 675 horsepower and 655 pound-feet of torque. The suspension has also been reinforced to reduce wheel hop. Interior upgrades include available quilted diamond leather and seats with an embossed black widow spider design.

The starting price for the Black Widow is $84,685. The supercharged version begins at over $101,000, with additional options such as a Brembo brake upgrade, a retractable tonneau cover, and various paint choices. The truck can be serviced at Chevrolet dealerships and comes with a three-year, 36,000-mile warranty.
