The new Gemballa Marsien GT commands 830 metric hp and is being advertised as a street-friendlier alternative than the company’s Marsien coupe introduced five years ago. Featuring a lightweight body, softer suspension and improved performance, the Marsien GT is already available for ordering from €770,000.
Note that this amount doesn’t even include the Porsche 911 (992) Turbo or Turbo S used as the donor. In exchange for your money, you get a supercar that looks fit for regular city driving, unlike the original Marsien with its heavy emphasis on Dakar Rally aesthetic. It benefits from a revised active aero kit complete with front louvers and a smart rear wing, electronic suspension, and a titanium exhaust system from Akrapovic. Forged aluminum centerlock wheels fill out the arches sized 20” at the front and 21” at the rear.
Power for the new Martian comes from an upgraded twin-turbo flat-six mill built by the tuning gurus over at RUF Automobiles. The latest tune enables the engine to send 830 PS (821 hp / 610 kW) to the wheels while exerting up to 930 Nm (686 lb-ft) of torque, and the company claims a tune-up to more than 900 PS (888 hp / 662 kW) is coming up soon. Even in its current form, the coupe snaps off the line to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.4 seconds and ultimately hit 330 km/h (205 mph).
Customers can choose from a variety of available interior trim schemes involving leather, Alcantara and carbon-fiber details. As you may notice, the center console and the gear lever in the gallery above are clearly inspired by the iconic Porsche Carrera GT.
No more than 30 examples will be made, Marc Philipp Gemballa says. The first deliveries are planned for 2027.
