The 2027 Subaru Impreza is positioned as the most affordable all-wheel-drive compact car. Its starting price has been reduced to $25,840, a decrease of $1950 from the previous model year. The RS trim level maintains its price at $30,740.
Both the base Impreza and the RS trim now feature a 180-hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder boxer engine, paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission. All-wheel drive remains standard. Previously, the 2.5-liter engine was exclusive to the Impreza RS. The new base model's engine represents an upgrade from the previous Sport model's 152-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder.
The base Impreza includes 17-inch wheels, cloth seats, dual-zone climate control, and dual 7.0-inch touchscreens with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Standard safety features encompass adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, and lane-keeping assist. The RS trim adds 18-inch wheels, fog lights, a Crystal Black Silica roof spoiler, and interior features such as heated front seats and an 11.6-inch touchscreen. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are also included with the RS trim.
Dealerships are expected to begin receiving the 2027 Subaru Impreza models toward the end of this year.
