JDM tuner proposes slamming your Nissan Patrol or Armada

Japanese tuning company Kuhl Racing has previewed new styling packages coming for the Nissan Patrol and its North American counterpart, the Armada. Both are still a work in progress, with the final reveal scheduled for the 2027 Tokyo Auto Salon in early January.

In the meantime, we have these 3D renderings to go by. One of the kits, called Urban Style, complements the Patrol with an aggressive and complex front splitter, matching side skirts, aerodynamic fender add-ons, a rear wing, and a rear diffuser. The latter has openings for a quad-pipe exhaust system also listed as an option.

Most parts are fully compatible with the Armada. The tuner suggests replacing the OEM wheels with 22-inch Verz Wheels VRF01L forged rims and dropping the suspension height about as far as it will go.

The other kit, Iron Build, targets the Armada exclusively with a number of rather practical-looking off-road upgrades. It features a 51mm (2-inch) suspension lift kit, heavy-duty bumpers optimized for off-roading, and generously flared fenders. The angular look of the body kit may evoke associations with forged steel, but it’s actually just fiber-reinforced plastic.

Aside from these modifications, both SUVs can be optioned with an engine tune-up to 500 PS (493 hp / 368 kW). It’s still unclear when preorders may open, though.
