Brabus has introduced the 800 Cabrio, an open-top version of the Mercedes-AMG G-Class. This model features an 800-horsepower twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 engine. The vehicle is characterized by carbon-fiber bodywork and an extensive leather interior.
Performance enhancements include a blow-off valve system and exhaust tips that illuminate red. The standard 800 Cabrio is equipped with 24-inch monoblock wheels and can accelerate to 60 mph in under four seconds. The folding fabric roof takes 20 seconds to retract.
A second variant, the 800 Cabrio XL, is designed with a portal-axle system, increasing ground clearance to 18.9 inches. This version is presented as an off-road-ready package. Production of the Brabus 800 Cabrio will be limited to 50 units. The cost of the vehicle is reportedly more than four times that of a standard G63.
