Ford F-150 gets tuned to 1,100 HP in Texas

Houston-based Late Model Racecraft got its hands on a Ford F-150 Raptor R truck armed with a 5.2-liter supercharged V8 and 730 PS (720 hp / 537 kW). Of course, the first logical thing to do was to give it the power that it sorely lacked.

That’s the only explanation we have for what happened next. The tuner rebuilt the whole powertrain using a massive 3.8-liter Whipple supercharger, a drastically improved cooling setup and a sophisticated three-fuel system. As a result, this F-150 delivers around 1,100 American horsepower (1,115 PS / 820 kW) running on E85, out of which roughly 965 hp (978 PS / 720 kW) reach the rear wheels. Even when filled with a regular ON93 gas, it makes 855 hp (867 hp / 638 kW) on the dyno.

Once tuned, the owner took the truck to another shop, Lifted Truck, and we trust you to guess what happened next. Yup, it was lifted for off-road driving and shod with 37-inch tires, to boot. Best of all, it managed to remain street-legal after all the tinkering.

Late Model Racecraft never mentioned any pricing details.
