Lexus is preparing to introduce the TZ450e, a new all-electric three-row SUV, expected to arrive in showrooms by late 2026 as a 2027 model. This vehicle follows the launch of Toyota's Highlander EV and will feature a more luxurious design. Its exterior will incorporate an EV interpretation of Lexus's spindle grille, while the interior will blend contemporary design with materials like bamboo and recycled aluminum.
The TZ450e will be powered by a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, producing 308 horsepower. Lexus estimates a driving range of up to 315 miles per charge with the largest battery pack. The vehicle is expected to charge from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 35 minutes when connected to a 150-kW charging station.
The SUV will offer a 14.0-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital gauge display for infotainment and connectivity. A 21-speaker Mark Levinson stereo system will also be available. Interior features include a panoramic sunroof, and options such as a rear-axle steering system and a Rear Comfort drive mode to enhance passenger experience. A dealer accessory could increase horsepower to 402 hp.
